Rifles
I specialize in long-range precision custom rifles to meet the needs of shooters in all disciplines. This includes both bolt action as well as AR style rifles. Whether you are a hunter, casual target shooter, competition shooter, or tactical professional, I am confident I can build you the rifle to fit your needs. It all starts with a phone call, give me a call whenever, and I will be more than happy to take the time to work with you about the details of your new rifle.

Zack
Gunsmith
I grew up hunting and fishing every chance I got. From the very beginning I was obsessed with accuracy. I wanted to know why my Daisy Red Ryder BB gun and Gamo pellet rifle wouldn’t put all the pellets into one hole. I even did a science project for school sometime around 5 th grade, testing the accuracy of different pellets in a pellet gun. After high school, I joined the Marine Corps (’09-’14) and became a Scout Sniper. During this time I deployed twice to Marjah, Afghanistan. I then moved to Bozeman and graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I used this time in school to do my best to gain a full understanding of how things work related to firearms and ballistics. During this time in school, I took a break to deploy to Iraq as a contractor for the State Department as a Designated Defensive Marksman. I started Misery Custom in early 2019 and it is a dream come true. I absolutely love what I do and love talking with customers about their dream rifle. In my free time, I enjoy long-range shooting, shooting pistols, exploring through the mountains, and all kinds of hunting and fishing.

Steph
Cerakote Master
I moved to Montana in 2012 to attend MSU for Animal Science. After school, life took me away from what I studied and I started a cleaning business in Big Sky in 2018 that I still manage today. When I’m not working I enjoy anything outdoors, skiing, hiking, biking, shooting, and hunting to name a few.
I became a certified Cerakote applicator in June 2023 and I absolutely love my job. I enjoy taking an idea and bringing it to life to make each rifle truly unique.
